About Us
How We're Helping
The Jefferson Historical
Society & Museum is a non-profit 501(c)3. Our focus is on preserving the history of Jefferson. Currently, we are working with the City of Jefferson, the Landmark Advisory Commission and the Conser family to repair and restore the community's oldest building, the Conser House. As that has become a reality for us, we are most excitedly beginning our journey of moving our current museum into the Conser House within the next few months.
With the help of volunteers we organize fundraisers, we work with other Jefferson businesses and non-profit groups to further community involvement in building a stronger Jefferson for everyone.

Object Donations to the Museum
Please Remember Us
Do you have some special items that have some type of significance to Jefferson or the surrounding area? Things like high school yearbooks or other Jefferson schools memorabilia. Even items from different businesses that are no longer operating would be treasured in our museum. Items can either be on loan or donations, its up to you to decide. We do have some guidelines as far as what can and can't be taken, so if you have an item you are thinking about loaning or donating please email us so we can discuss it further.
